Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite Unboxing:
Unwrapping the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite, you will get this beautiful handset along with Travel Adapter, USB Cable User Manual (as always). This time, you will also get Earphones included in the box, yet these are the Type-C earphones, which are the only option apart from Bluetooth earpieces.
Samsung was expected to deliver 45W fast charging, but we only get a 25W fast charging adapter in the box. Another good thing that we find in the box is a soft DPU case that seems of really average quality.
Samsung Galaxy S10 Ports & Buttons:
Starting from the bottom of Galaxy S10 Lite, you will see the Type-C port installed at the bottom-center. Accompanying the type-c port, you will get a microphone, speaker grill. Interestingly, all these ports are made available on the right side of the type-c port, which means the bottom-left is vacant.
Moving to the right of this phone, you will get the volume rockers, power button, which is as common as other smartphones in the market. NOTHING CHANGED
At its top, you will only find a noise-cancellation microphone, nothing else.
At top-left, you will get a hybrid SIM card tray, which was expected to be a dedicated SIM slot.
Now, you might be wondering, where the hell is its finger-print sensor?
Well, it’s evident if the physical presence is not available, it will undoubtedly be in-screen. RIGHT?
Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite Built Quality:
Talking about the overall built quality of this phone, it looks like a good product from Samsung. However, its back panel is made of plastic that seems somewhat similar to glass. This plastic back invites visible finger prints which makes it weird for high-price smartphone. It would have been better if Samsung used a Glass back panel to provide a better theme to it along with better strength. From its back, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite seems almost similar to Note 10 Lite. Both the Samsung flagship phones have a square camera housing which includes three Camera setup along with one flash-light (yet in a different pattern)
We placed the DPU case, which fits nicely without adding extra width or weight to the phone.
THIS IS INTERESTING, AND WE LOVED IT!
What I loved the best is its light-weight trait, regardless of such a big screen and flooded features. It is a pleasure to hold this phone in your hands.
REALLY!
Calculating its actual weight, we found it to be exactly 186gms, which is fantastic.
VERY EXCITING AND AMAZING
Design & Display:
Seeing at this smartphone powering on, I am very much pleasured to see its thin-bezels, which give Samsung a reason to praise its team. Except for the small dot-notch camera, you will have the entire screen for usage. Even you will find it to be one of the phones with the smallest chin space.
It has a 6.4 inch SUPER AMOLED touch screen with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a pixel index of 403 PPI. We must say the quality of the screen is actually good. Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite comes with a new Interface i.e., Samsung One UI 2, and the phone is running on Android 10.
SO, YOU ARE GETTING THE LATEST ANDROID VERSION!
Performance:
Coming to its performance, what more we can expect from a smartphone with 8GB of RAM supported with 128GB of storage.
FAR GOOD ENOUGH!
Snapdragon 855 processor is the backbone of this phone, which feels seamless in the functioning and running the maximum number of applications without falling short of RAM. In India, we have this single variant (8+128), but the combination of RAM with Advanced Processor makes it a high-performance machine.
Testing this phone, we find not a single issue of laggyness, and smart RAM management is the core reason behind this.
Gaming Experience: Game testing can’t be ignored when you are investing nearly INR 40K for a smartphone. Testing Call of Duty as well as PUBG on this phone, we are highly satisfied with its overall performance.
YES, YOU CAN PLAY HIGH-PERFORMANCE GAMES WITHOUT FAIL
No overheating or laggyness was experienced throughout our gaming experience.
Cellular Networking: The inclusion of VoWiFi gives it strength to offer Calling experience without attenuation or disturbance. You will get a crystal clear calling even with a low cellular signal.
NFC + MSD: Cars with MSD features can now be connected with Samsung Pay to offer seamless paying experience. This phone comes with NFC as well as MSD feature, which is good to see.
Camera Quality:
It comes with a Super Steady OIS, which is a unique feature to offer excellent stability while capturing motion videos. Images are pretty natural.
The front-facing camera (Infinity O Display) also serves the best performance. Using the front camera for video recording also does well. The Live Focus option in Video is also an exciting feature to experience on this phone. Audio capturing is also crystal clear, as we expect from Samsung.
Super Steady OIS: In the Super Steady OIS, not only the camera moves during motion, but the entire camera module moves to capture crystal clear videos without facing motion blur issues. Compared to conventional OIS technology, it is far better. That’s the reason Samsung has named it ‘Gimble-like Mobile Camera.’
Battery & Charging:
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Lite houses 4500 mAh battery, which is well managed with Snapdragon 855 processor. The processor better handles battery usage and ensure you get a good response overall. It gives you nearly 2 days of battery life, which is pretty decent on the phone with this price tag.
We tested the phone with Always On Display mode. So, you might get even more battery response without using this mode. Talking about the charging experience, we are satisfied with the 25W charger that offers quick charging, as we expected.

Why You Shouldn’t Buy Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite?
Hybrid SIM Slot: If you are one of those guys with two SIM and still need an external SD card storage, you might be disappointed with this phone. Galaxy S10 Lite comes with a Hybrid SIM Slot.
Small Battery: Undoubtedly, Galaxy S10 Lite comes with 4500 mAh inbuilt power-bank, yet we expect something like Samsung Galaxy M30s, which is the God Father of all smartphones in terms of battery. Also, we expect a 45W Fast Charger; instead, 25W Fast Charger was offered.
No IP Protection: Most of the ‘S’ Series Samsung phones have IP protection, which is missing in this handset.
No 3.5mm Audio Jack: This time, Samsung has killed the 3.5mm Audio Jack, which will definitely disappoint many of you. However, the box comes with a Type-C headset that works really well.
Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite Price in India
Now coming to the crucial query i.e., Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite Price in India. The Galaxy S10 Lite is available for purchase with a price tag of INR 39,000.
Final Verdict:
We are delighted with this phone as it delivers what it comes in the given price range. However, as Samsung has launched the ‘Lite’ version, we can’t expect much from it.
