Budget service SpiceJet on Tuesday stated certainly one of its engineers has examined optimistic for coronavirus and that each one measures are being taken to supply acceptable medical care to the individual.

As a precautionary measure, all crew and employees who had been in direct contact with him have been requested to self-quarantine by staying at residence for the subsequent two weeks, the spokesperson stated in an announcement.

“One of our colleagues, an engineer with SpiceJet, has tested positive for COVID-19. He had last reported on duty on April 22 at the Delhi airport. The engineer got tested on April 27,” the assertion stated.

According to the airline, all measures are being taken to supply acceptable medical care to him.

“We have been diligently following the guidelines issued by the government and WHO,” it stated, including that each one plane are being disinfected completely for the reason that finish of January and the disinfectants used are as per the WHO requirements.
