Maruti Suzuki Launches New Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

To strengthen its dedication to creating youth employable by talent improvement, Maruti Suzuki Training Academy has launched a brand new three-year course: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Tool and Die Design at its Centre of Excellence at Government Polytechnic, Manesar. The course shall be performed in collaboration with the Haryana State Board of Technical Education (HSBTE) and is authorised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Maruti Suzuki India Limited and Haryana Government.

Speaking on the launch of a brand new course, Kenichi Ayukawa, Managing Director and CEO, Maruti Suzuki India Limited stated, “Maruti Suzuki believes in preparing a talent pool for automobile manufacturing. The diploma course in Tool and Die Design is another such initiative. The course will enhance employability prospects of local youth. It will also help us create a talent pool for specific areas like Tool and Die shops so that such technical functions are performed smoothly.”

This specialised course is unfold over three years comprising six semesters. Total of 26 topics with minor and main initiatives shall be imparted primarily based on HSBTE pointers. The price for the course is Rs 4,500 for every pupil for a yr (two semesters). MSIL will make a one-time capital funding of Rs 80 lakhs in the direction of procurement, set up and commissioning of equipment required for the course. MSIL and its vendor companions shall be benefitted by getting expert manpower for Tool and Die perform.
