German airline group Lufthansa stated Monday it was extending flight cancellations on Iran and China routes till late April, a part of a broader rollback due to the novel coronavirus. The group’s namesake service and subsidiaries Austrian and Swiss is not going to fly to and from mainland China till April 24, Lufthansa stated in an announcement. Meanwhile, Tehran flights will probably be suspended till April 30. The slashes to the flight plan are a part of a wider scheme Lufthansa introduced Friday that may floor 23 long-haul plane and reduce short- and medium-haul companies by as much as 25 per cent.
