Kia Motors May Make Face Masks at China Factory to Fight Coronavirus

Kia has suspended manufacturing at its Georgia plant within the United States, its Slovakia website and operations in India as a result of coronavirus pandemic.

South Korea’s Kia Motors Corp is contemplating making face masks at its Chinese manufacturing unit to assist battle the unfold of the coronavirus, a spokesman stated on Wednesday.

The announcement follows an analogous transfer by Fiat Chrysler, whose CEO Mike Manley stated earlier this week that one of many group’s crops in Asia can be transformed to supply face masks for healthcare employees and would attain a goal of 1 million masks per thirty days in coming weeks.
