The Civil Aviation Ministry has requested airways to challenge a full refund to clients in search of cancellation of flight tickets booked in the course of the coronavirus lockdown. The tips issued to airways says that no cancellation cost will probably be levied on the cancelled tickets.

The tips stated that any ticket booked between first lockdown announcement from March 25 to April 14 and second lockdown announcement from April 15 to May three are entitled to get full refund with none cancellation prices. Senior officers of Ministry of Civil Aviation and CEOs of Indian airways corporations met on Wednesday afternoon on the problem of cancellation refunds in the course of the coronavirus lockdown interval.
The US had earlier this month directed its airways to challenge refunds to passengers for ticket cancellations carried out amid the coronavirus pandemic.
