Four AAI-run airports have been adjudged among the many greatest aerodromes on the earth, successful 10 awards in 4 completely different classes on the 2019 ASQ awards. ASQ is a globally established programme that measures passengers’ satisfaction whereas travelling via an airport. Airports Council International (ACI), which is an unbiased company of airport operators, carries out worldwide benchmarking of aerodromes.
“Four AAI airports: Chandigarh, Mangaluru, Trivandrum and Lucknow, have been adjudged the best in the world in recently announced 2019 ASQ awards. These airports won 10 awards in four categories,” Airports Authority of India (AAI) stated in a launch. The survey measures passengers’ satisfaction throughout 34 key efficiency indicators that embody eight main classes akin to entry, check-in, safety, airport amenities, meals and beverage, retail, airport setting and arrival providers.
The 4 classes by which these airports bagged the perfect airport awards had been measurement and area, setting and atmosphere, customer support and infrastructure and facilitation, as per the AAI. It was carried out at round 356 airports throughout North America, Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. The survey outcomes are monitored by airports tariff regulator AERA, NITI Aayog and civil aviation ministry, it added.
