Coronavirus Lockdown: BharatBenz Extends Warranty and Scheduled Service Period by Two Months

BharatBenz automobiles with guarantee/prolonged guarantee contracts ending between 15th March 2020 and 15th May 2020 now have an additional two months leeway.

In mild of the nationwide lockdown, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) has introduced a two-month extension for warranties and prolonged guarantee repairs. BharatBenz automobiles with guarantee/prolonged guarantee contracts ending between 15th March 2020 and 15th May 2020, or having their subsequent service schedule throughout this era, now have an additional two months leeway. Satyakam Arya, Managing Director and CEO, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, mentioned, “Even during the lockdown, some of our BharatBenz customers are transporting essential commodities in order to support the community. To support them in turn, we decided to extend both service and warranty repairs by two months.”

In a further transfer to assist BharatBenz clients, DICV tied up with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) to assist stranded drivers who can dial the always-active, toll-free quantity (1800-120-380380) and request primary assist. BharatBenz collects info on the driving force’s necessities, which embody secured parking, water, gas, bathing and shelter. This info is then handed on to the closest HPCL group, who contacts the driving force and gives the required assist.
