Coronavirus Impact: Bajaj Auto Sales Drop 38 Percent in March

Bajaj Auto on Friday reported a 38 per cent decline in complete gross sales to 2,42,57 models in March as towards 3,93,351 in the identical month final yr.

Total home gross sales fell 55 per cent to 1,16,541 models final month as in comparison with 2,59,185 models in March 2019, Bajaj Auto stated in a press release.

The firm additional stated its complete two-wheeler gross sales had been down 35 per cent at 2,10,976 models as in comparison with 3,23,538 models within the year-ago month.

Domestic two-wheeler gross sales had been at 98,412 models final month as towards 2,20,213 models in March 2019, a decline of 55 per cent, it added.

For 2019-20, the two-wheeler maker reported eight per cent dip in gross sales at 46,15,212 models as in comparison with 50,19,503 models in 2018-19.
