Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the mid-cycle refresh for its c-segment sedan Ciaz in India. Ahead of the launch, almost all the important details regarding this vehicle have surfaced online. The updated Ciaz comes with a slightly updated exterior design along with a mild revision to its feature list. Not only this, but Maruti has decided to introduce an all-new, bigger and more powerful 1.5-litre petrol engine with this update. Maruti Ciaz Facelift 2018 Launched Date:

According to recent media reports, Maruti Suzuki is expected to launch the new Ciaz in India by the end of August. Earlier there were reports stating that the launch was supposed to happen sometime around the first week of September. But as of now, the launch expected to be delayed.

Maruti Ciaz Facelift 2018 Price In India:

Prices for the updated Maruti Suzuki Ciaz are expected to remain almost the same as before. However, with the introduction of a new petrol engine which is bigger in terms of its capacity and power out and also the introduction of the SHVS tech, the prices could go up a little. Expected price base model of Maruti  Ciaz is Rs. 8.1 Lakh and its top model price are expected to be of Rs. 12 Lakh.

The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Facelift specifications will include both petrol and diesel engine versions. The Ciaz Facelift petrol will have a 1373 cc 4-cylinder engine delivering a power of 91 PS and torque of 138 Nm. The diesel version will feature the famous 1.3 L engine with a power of 89 PS and torque of 200 Nm.

The manual transmission version will feature a 5-speed manual gearbox and the 4-speed automatic transmission will be available in the petrol version only.

Maruti Ciaz Facelift 2018 Braking And Safety:

The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Facelift braking system will feature ventilated disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear as in the existing model. However, the anti-lock braking system can be expected as an additional feature for better stability and control.

The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Facelift features would include dual SRS airbags for the driver and co-passenger, ISOFIX mount for a secured child seat, reverse parking camera, and engine immobilizer, for perfect safety against frontal collisions and safe seating of a child onboard.

2018 Maruti Ciaz Facelift Exterior:

The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Facelift exteriors will feature projector headlamps with daytime running lights and chrome-accented front grilles. The side profile will feature ORVMs with integrated turn lights and stylish alloy wheels. The tail lamps with chrome accent and the wide dickey door could be given a facelift with the new design.

The overall dimensional features will remain the same. However, there will be a cosmetic lift with minor changes in the bumper design and contours on the body panel.
